As a QA Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. You'll primarily focus on manual testing while gradually building automation capabilities. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to transition into automation testing while leveraging their manual testing expertise.
🎯Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases across web and mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools
- Learn and implement automated test cases using Selenium or similar frameworks
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and acceptance criteria
- Perform regression, functional, integration, and exploratory testing
- Participate in sprint planning and provide QA estimates
- Contribute to improving QA processes and best practices
✅Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, and bug lifecycle
- Basic knowledge of Selenium, TestNG, or similar automation tools (willingness to learn is key)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes
- Good understanding of API testing (Postman or similar tools)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Based in or willing to relocate to Pune
⭐Nice to Have
- Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Playwright
- Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Experience with performance or security testing
- ISTQB or similar QA certification
